Taking the training wheels off.

Remember what it was like when you rode your first bike? You woke up and you decided you wanted to be like everyone your age without their training wheels. You unscrewed your wheels, put on your helmets and put a smile on your face. Ready to go wherever the wind was going to take you. Having no fear in your heart, because you knew of the consequences of taking your training wheels.

Because once you decide that you met the one, and you want it to work you have taken off the training wheels. You have decided I know I am going to be on a crazy ride, and I will fall, many, many times. Not only will you get bruises on your body but also on you ego. You will become crushed realizing riding without your training wheels isn't as fun as everyone makes it seem. It is hard and you have to have a lot of determination but at the same time see the beauty in falling and getting back up again. And when you do finally get that moment, when whoever is guiding you finally lets you go its like it all becomes clear. A moment of clarity.

You know how to balance yourself and you know exactly how to turn and move. And guess what? You don't fall, but you do go from side to side, still a little wobbly but the smile you have on yourself is worth all the times you have fallen off your bike.

See right now many of us have taken off our training wheels and have fallen multiple times and got right back on that bike. But is there a time when you decide you know what I am over this STUPID bike!? You will  keep falling and losing hope and direction to what you once thought you wanted. You see everyone else around you riding their bikes with no care in the world.  Having so much trust  in their bike. Some bike riders are using no hands and doing all these tricks with their bikes. But everyone is different right? Some fall and don't want to get back up, whereas others just keep on riding.

So you decide before you take the raining wheels off, are you ready to fall over and over again unit you finally get it right? And when you get on the bike are you willing to never look back at the mistakes you make, and focus on the great possible tricks and happiness you can achieve when you try?

Now imagine love is like the bike, and ask yourself again. Are you ready to fall over and over again, and trust your partner to be the one to guide you so you can achieve that smile on your face?!
